Dubbed a “Renaissance Man” by his 8th grade history teacher, New York native, Brandon Kyle Goodman continues to hold the reputation of a multifaceted powerhouse! As an actor/writer/comedian, Brandon continues to make a name for himself using his candid and comedic approach to tackle controversial, cultural, and political happenings of the day.

Described as the love child of Chris Rock and John Leguizamo, Brandon uses his wild characters and unfiltered stand up to take on the zeitgeist of his life.  His latest solo show, “One Good Man”, sold out legendary venues like Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater and became a Time Out New York Critics’ Pick.

As a comedian, Brandon has been featured at many of New York City’s most respected venues including, Ars Nova, The People’s Improv Theater, The Stand NYC, and The Duplex.

Brandon was seen on VH1’s Throwback Thanksgiving alongside comedians Michelle Buteau, Alesha Renee, and Jade Catta-Preta.  Brandon was also featured in the first New York NBC Diversity Showcase, and has appeared on the Amazon Prime original series “Red Oaks”, and the Elite Daily viral web series, “This Is Why We’re Single”, and CBS drama “Doubt”.

Brandon got his start as a writer/songwriter and performing member of Political Subversities–a musical sketch comedy show spectacular that pokes at political, social, and pop-cultural headlines of the given week . In PoliSub you could find Brandon either singing about the conundrum that is “Black Republicans”, rapping about being a Black baby with a White nanny, or playing a host of pop-culture icons including Obama, Rihanna, Blue Ivy Carter, Chris Brown, and Lindsay Lohan to name a few.

 You can also find Brandon on YouTube portraying his wildly opinionated and hilarious character Latrell Lavene Lebron Lucious Lacrosse Latavier Lactaid Jackson.  The webseries “Latrell!” was featured by “Funny or Die” and The Huffington Post.

Brandon is a graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. While there he studied at The Atlantic Theater School founded by William H. Macy and David Mamet, as well as Experimental Theatre Wing, and International Theatre Wing in Amsterdam.  Shortly after graduating, Brandon became an adjunt professor at the Experimental Theatre Wing, teaching a popular solo writing and performance class he created called, “Solosemble”.

When Brandon isn’t on stage or in front of the camera, he can be found enjoying chocolate chip cookies and reality television.
